A spectacular recipe that you'll be making again and again, making you want to maintain your sourdough starter over time... Yields: 12 Rolls Prep: 30 min. + rising Bake: Appx. 35 mins. I created this recipe after being inspired by several variations that I've had in the past. Here's my 'Alaska Spin' on this delightful appetizer -------- You are able to make it to your exact spiciness level versus my medium version ~ simply substitute milder salsa for a lighter dip or hotter salsa for a dip with more zest... A wonderful method in which to prepare your Alaskan summer-harvested blueberries that have been frozen, and its combination with peaches to form this decadent cobbles is nothing short of amazing... Servings: (12) Prep: 25 mins. A very quick and easy recipe to prepare that's  very decadent and incredibly delicious! (Note: The recipe makes 4 skewers-worth,  even though only 2 are shown above) ... Servings: 4 Prep: 10 Mins. Marinate: 1 Hr. Broil: 4 to 5 Mins. Equipment: --4 (12") stainless-steel skewers --Broiler pan --High-heat cooking spray INGREDIENTS Fish: 1 lb. fresh, boneless-skinless halibut, cut into 1" cubes Marinade: 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 1/4 teaspoon cayenne 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom 1/4 teaspoon curry powder 1/4 teaspoon table salt 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic Finishing: --Ground paprika METHOD In a medium glass bowl, add the marinade ingredients; mix to combine. SANDRA'S ALASKAN HOMEMADE ICED TEA

An easy, inexpensive and healthy beverage to prepare and serve on those beautiful sunny days with your loved ones... Yields: (1 quart) Prep: 15 Mins. INGREDIENTS 7 tea bags (Green Tea, Oolong, Lipton, or your choice of herbal tea) 2 cups boiling water 2 tablespoons fireweed honey   [click for recipe] 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice 2 cups cold water METHOD Heat 2 cups of water to boiling in a teapot. Pour into a 4-cup glass (heatproof) measuring cup, filling up to the 2-cup point. Steep for 10 minutes, exactly (set a timer). After squeezing the teabags using a slotted spoon, discard them. Add the  fireweed honey  and lemon juice, stir to combine.  Add cold water until the 4-cup liquid measure is reached; stir a final time to incorporate. Pour sweetened tea into a 1-quart pitcher. An incredible and  tasty one-pot-wonder that is quite versatile in that you can change it up by substituting halibut with shrimp, chicken, or pork, and so on.. . Servings: ( 8 to 10) Prep: 15 min Cook: 10 min INGREDIENTS 3 tablespoons canola oil, divided 3 eggs, lightly beaten 8 oz. fillet halibut, cut into 1" cubes 2 cups *pre-steamed carrots and sweet petite peas (See How To TIP below) 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1 teaspoon granulated garlic 1 tablespoon dried minced onion Freshly ground pepper, to taste 5 cups cooked white rice 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce 1/8 teaspoon sesame oil 1/4 teaspoon rice vinegar METHOD In a Dutch Oven, heat 1 tablespoon of the canola oil over medium-high heat. SANDRA'S ALASKAN MOOSE ROAST - PRIME RIB STYLE

A simplistic method using minimal spices and ingredients to guarantee utmost flavor of our prized Alaskan moose roasts; prime rib style, that is! Servings: (8-10) Prep: 5 Mins. Roast:  1 Hr. 20 Mins. INGREDIENTS 4 lb. boneless moose roast (tied with kitchen string) 6 fresh medium garlic cloves, sliced in half Canola oil (sufficient amount to rub entire exterior of roast prior to seasoning) Fresh ground black pepper (we like to use a lot!) Kosher salt (a fairly nice dusting) METHOD Remove roast from refrigerator 1 hour prior to roasting (tie with kitchen string if not already done). Using a sharp boning knife, poke as many small holes all over uncooked roast to insert the number of garlic clove halves; push in holes. Let prepped roast sit at room temperature for 1 hour (this is an important step to relax meat fibers). Meanwhile, preheat oven to 450 degrees for a minimum of 15 minutes.
