Chicken Fricasee
3 small onions quartered
4 medium carrots peeled and sliced
3 medium potatoes quartered
2 celery stalks, sliced
1 bay leaf
1 can chicken soup and � cup water
2 tsp. salt
� tsp. rosemary leaves
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 slices of bacon
Brown chicken in bacon fat, pour chicken soup with water over chicken, add crumbled bacon. Sprinkle half of salt, pepper, rosemary over chicken, add vegetables and then the remaining seasoning.
Cover and bring to a boil, lower heat to simmer and cook for about 55 minutes or until done.
