Gourmet Potatoes

Now I don't have to search three or four cookbooks on a Sunday morning for just the 'right' Gourmet Potato recipe.  It will be right here.  Sigh...  How comforting!

1 bag hashbrowns
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 cup milk
chopped green onion
chopped red pepper
seasoning salt
garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

Topping:
1 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes
1/2 cup shredded cheese
2 T. melted margarine

Mix together and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350.  Mix topping together and put on potatoes for last 15 min. of baking.  Makes one 9x13 inch pan.

It's good without the topping, too.  I just realized that I forgot to put it on today!!
