BBQ Meatballs

I've made this quite a few times for potlucks, because I can make the meatballs earlier in the week and freeze them. Then on Sunday all I have to do is put them in the slow cooker with sauce and turn it on.  They are very well loved!

Meatballs:
3 lbs. hamburger or ground pork
2 cups oatmeal
2 eggs
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. chili powder

Sauce:
2 cups ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1 T. liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Mix and form into small balls.  Arrange in a large, lightly greased pan.  At this point you can bake them uncovered until done and put into the freezer for later.  Or pour the sauce over, cover with foil and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
