Cinnamon swirl bread
2 cups lukewarm water
2 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup flour plus more as needed
In a 8 cup measuring bowl put all the above ingredients. Stir til partially mixed, leave sit until bubbly.
Transfer to mixer bowl with dough hook attachment. Add about 2 cups flour, then continue to add flour 1/2 cup at a time til dough does not stick to sides of bowl, and forms a ball. Put in a greased bowl til doubled in size, covered with a dry cloth. Punch down dough and roll into a rectangle, put on 1layer of melted butter or margarine, then brown sugar, then sugar and cinnamon mixture. Roll up tightly into a log, cut to size of loaf pan, cover with dry cloth til 1/2 again as big. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until slightly brown or when touched it makes a thumping sound.
