DOROTHY'S FRIENDSHIP TEA

2 cups Tang instant breakfast drink
2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/3 cups instant tea mix
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
2 3-ounce packages Wyler's Lemonade mix (optional)

Combine ingredients and pour through funnel into large glass container. Cover tightly. The dry mix keeps for months in the refrigerator.

To make a quart: use approximately 1/4 cup mix to 1 quart of water

This recipe is from the late Dorothy Mengering, better known as David Letterman's mother. Dorothy was a fellow Hoosier who loved to cook and share her recipes.

Found about a wonderful cause from Priya who is a member of BloggerAid . The group is publishing a book with the recipes prepared by the foodie bloggers around the world, a really noble gesture againt the hunger. Eidhul Adha is here!! So its pretty chaotic on the streets of Male' everyone is running or rather zooming around trying to head to the islands or resorts or abroad for Eid holidays. So for this Eid I have a very elegant dish , quite a show stopper I would say  one that took me ages to perfect. Great desert to serve  for a special occasion .
