Veggie Chatpati Lentils (Breakfast )

This is very easy and simple snacks for  breakfast or we can make it any time in the morning tea or  with evening tea. Full of protein and good source of fiber also. Ingredients: 1cup MoongDaal(Split Geen Gram) 1 Tomato (Finally chopped)  1 Tbsp capsicum (chopped) 1 Onion(finally chopped) 3 Green Chili (Finally chopped) 1/2 Chaat masala 1/4 Turmeric Powder 1Tbsp Lemon juice 1/4tsp Grama masala 1/2 black pepper 1/4tsp Red chili powder Salt( according to taste) Cilantro leaves(for dressing) Method: Pour 1 cup of water in the pressure cooker when it come to boil ,add washed  moog dal,salt,turmric powder  On medium heat close the lid for 5 min or wait utill 1 whistels.   Turn off the heat from beneath the cooker. Khoya Til Laddo (Fatsing)

we can eat these ladoo in fast also, Sawan month  is going on and in this month we worship of God  shiva and have fast so i thought to make it . Ingredients:  1cup  Khoya\Mawa ( Dried whole milk)  2TbspSesame Seeds (til  Coarsely powdered roasted )  2Tbsp Powdered sugar 2tsp Almond powder(optional) 1 Tbsp shredded coconut 10-15 no of Raisins(For Garnishing) Method: Roast the khoya on low flame till it is very light golden yellow color. Let is cool for few minutes. Then add coarsely powdered roasted sesame seeds and mix it. Add powdered sugar and almond powder and coconut . Mix well and shape into small balls. Strawberry Freezer Jam

Confession. I haven't made this recipe myself, but I have eaten the end result. My neighbors, Joe and Lisa Nielsen, gave me a jar of this delicious concoction, and I HAD to have the recipe! This is so delicious on homemade bread or toast! I'm going to have to make a batch of this sometime soon. It doesn't look hard at all. The original recipe comes from MCP, a manufacturer of pectin. 3 1/4 cups prepared fruit (buy about 2 quarts fully ripe strawberries) 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice 1 box pectin 1 cup corn syrup 4 1/2 cups sugar, measured into separate bowl Rinse clean plastic containers and lids with boiling water. Dry thoroughly. Crush strawberries thoroughly, one layer at a time. Measure exactly 3 1/4 cups crushed strawberries into large bowl. Stir in lemon juice. Ingredients 1/2 Cup Sesame Seeds (til) 1/3 Sugar or Jaggery 1 tsp Ghee or Butter(unsalted) 2tsp penuts (roughly crushed) 1/2 tsp Ghee ( for greasing  the tray) Method: 1.Til,2.sugar,3.Ghee,4.Penuts Roast the sesame seeds till they are light golden in color. Cool and keep aside. In the meantime, grease the back of flat tray with a little ghee and keep it aside. Heat the ghee in a pan and add the suger to it. Simmer over a slow flame till it caramelises and forms a hard ball when you add a drop in cold water. Add the roasted til and mix it thoroughly with the melted sugar. Methi Paratha (Fenugreek Paratha)

Ingredients: 1 Cup Methi leaves  (finally chopped) 1&1/2 cup all purpose flour 2 green chili finally chopped 1tsp salt 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1tsp cumin seed Method: Wash the methi leaves and chopped them Choped FenuGreek Flour & FenuGreek      Take the flour add methi leaves and mix all the ingredients in it and kneed it well and leave it for 15 minutes. Dough    Now your dough is ready for prathas. Now make equal sized balls from dough and roll the balls into round shaped chapati with a rolling pin. Heat a tawa and and put the rolled out parathas on it and cook for a minute. When bubbles start appearing, apply a little oil and flip it over to the other side. Let the other side also get cooked. Capsicum/Pepper with Cottage Chess

This is very easy , quick and tasty,full of vitamin,and protein receipes .you can ready it in 15 minutes.   INGREDIENTS: 1 Capsicum or GreenBellPapper (washed and cut in to slices) 1/2 Cup Cottage Chess(Paneer- roughly crushed ) 1 Large Onion (sliced) 2 Green chillies (finely chopped) 2 Tomato(finely chopped) 1/2 tsp GingerPaste 1tsp cumin seeds  2tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp turmric powder 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1/4 tsp Asafoetida(Hing) 1 tsp Gram Masla 1 tsp Salt 1Tbsp oil(any vegetable oil)  Method: Heat oil in a pan add cumin seed and saute it till cumin seed trun brown. Add sliced onion and capsicum fry it for 2 minutes. Now add tomato ,coriander powder,gramamasla , turmeric powder,asafoetida ,salt,red chili powder and fry it again for 5 min .
